Yaaaayyy for Fridays! I hope your week has gone well! I’ve been busy planning and creating new content for the blog. If you follow me on Facebook, you might have seen me mention something about a newsletter, or maybe you didn’t because I never know who of you, if any Facebook shows my posts to! Anyway, the newsletter is one of the things I’m in the process of creating, this will be sent out on a weekly basis (haven’t decided what day yet) and will cover my posts for the week plus some extra bits and pieces. I can’t wait to have it all ready to share with you!
I also recently mentioned on Facebook, that I was planning a giveaway for UK followers only (sorry non-UK followers! Don’t worry though I have some giveaways coming up that are going to be worldwide!). I’ve teamed up with a local kombucha company here in England and will be doing a giveaway of their products coming up very shortly, so watch out for that one!
For now though I’m going to hand you over to Arsy of Rubies and Radishes who has kindly agreed to do another guest post for Cinnamon Eats readers! I’m so excited to have her back, sharing a great smoothie recipe, using coconut milk.

Hi there! This is Arsy from Rubies and Radishes. I am so excited to be here, sharing one of my favorite recipes with the Cinnamon Eats readers.
This recipe was inspired by a smoothie that my friend Kelly of The Spunky Coconut made for us when she visited as part of her book tour. I have been avoiding coffee lately, so I have been making this with Choffy. If you have never had Choffy before it is delicious! It is 100% cocoa beans roasted and ground. You brew it just like coffee. Basically, it’s brewed chocolate!
If you’re tired of eating eggs in the morning this makes a filling and balanced Paleo breakfast. It is also perfect for an after workout smoothie.
Paleo Chocolate Banana Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 16 ounces/2 cups brewed choffy (or coffee), frozen in an ice cube tray.
- 1 banana.
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract.
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon.
- 1 cup coconut milk.
- 2 Tbsp Gelatin (I prefer this brand because it is grass-fed and the green bottle doesn’t gel, so it works well for drinks).
- Raw honey to taste (optional).
Method:
Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Enjoy!

Oh good! Going through and checking/fixing my other photos now! Cheers!
Yes, all good now!
Thanks Alisa! and thanks for the heads up, I changed the pic sizes, can you let me know if it is better now?
Wow, what a yummy treat! By the way, I don’t know if it’s just because of the resolution size of my computer, but your pictures are HUGE on my screen and overlap some of your side ads/banners/links. I assume it looks fine on your end, but it might look like this to others FYI. I use a 13-inch MacBook Pro and use the default screen settings and that’s how it appears to me.
