What are the Ads on this site?

You may notice that there are adverts (ads) running at the top and bottom of the posts, as well as on the sidebar of the homepage. These ads are run by Google and are a way for me to generate some income for my blogging activities here at Cinnamon Eats. The income I generate through these ads is minimal but it helps me to pay towards the cost of hosting this site, creating the recipes and content I share and for giveaways.

Whilst every precaution has been taken to make sure the ads shown reflect the message and content of this blog, there will be instances where they do not. If you seen an ad here that is not in line with the message and content of this blog I apologise but unfortunately it is not in my full control.

What’s an affiliate link?

You may have noticed that I have a disclaimer at the end of my posts which states:

*PAID ENDORSEMENT DISCLOSURE: In order for me to support this blog and its activities I may receive monetary compensation or other types of remuneration for my endorsement, recommendation, testimonial and/or link to any products or services from this blog. All of the products I recommend are ones that I either own/have used myself or that I believe to be valuable. If your purchase a product via an affiliate link on this blog your cost will stay the same but Cinnamon Eats will receive a small commission, which will be used for the maintenance of this site. Thank you for your support!

As with the ads that are used on this site, I also use an affiliate program through Amazon.com to generate income and support for the running of Cinnamon Eats. If you click on an affiliate link and then purchase that item through that link Amazon will generate a small commission for me. Please note that prices are exactly the same for you if you purchase something through an affiliate or non-affiliate link. The only way that I generate this small commission is if a reader purchases an item through an affiliate link within 24 hours of clicking on the link.

Amazon does not work on a pay per click basis. So clicking on a link will not generate any income. However if you click on a link then purchase something else on Amazon, this will generate a commission for Cinnamon Eats.

As Amazon explains it:

Each of your purchases via our Amazon affiliation links supports our cause at no additional cost to you.
