Paleo Turkish Delight Panna Cotta

Turkish Delight Panna Cotta

Growing up in Australia Turkish delights were common place in our household. I remember us always having a box of them in the pantry. For some reason I’ve always had a love/hate relationship when it comes to Turkish delight, I remember going to birthday parties as a kid in Australia and often being offered a specific brand of Turkish delight covered in milk chocolate, wrapped in pink foil… if you’re an Aussie reading this you will most likely know the chocolate Turkish delight bar I’m referring to! Honey Glazed Salmon with Cinnamon Macadamia Crust

Honey glazed cinnamon and macadamia crusted salmon on a plate of spinach.

Anyway on a recent episode one of the couples made a dish using cinnamon and salmon which I thought was interesting. They made a cinnamon biscuit/cookie to go with their salmon, but in the end it didn’t work out so well for them. I was intrigued by the idea though and decided to give my own twist on the whole cinnamon and salmon idea. Cinnamon is one of those spices that can be used in both savoury and sweet dishes and a quick Google search of ‘salmon and cinnamon’ will bring up quiet a few results. [Read more…]
